He authored numerous works on various aspects of Protestant doctrine, including a commentary on the Epistles of Paul and a defense of the Reformation against its Catholic critics. Beza also played a crucial role in the establishment of the Geneva Academy, which became a center of Protestant learning and produced many of the leading theologians of the Reformation era. Despite facing numerous challenges and persecutions, Beza remained a steadfast advocate for Protestantism until his death in Geneva in 1605.
