Assigned to 89th Military Airlift Wing, Andrews AFB, MD, this aircraft served the administrations of Presidents Ford, Carter, Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Clinton and George W. Bush. Aside from flying the presidents, it also flew Vice-Presidents Walter Mondale, George H.W. Bush, Dan Quayle, Albert Gore and Dick Cheney; First Ladies Rosalynn Carter, Nancy Reagan, Barbara Bush, Hillary Clinton and Laura Bush; Cabinet Members and dignitaries, both domestic and foreign. Arrived at Castle Air Museum, Atwater, California on 16 October 2013, for display. Date: 1998

This stunning print captures the McDonnell Douglas C-9C 73-1681 of the United States Air Force on approach to RAF Mildenhall in February-March 1998. This aircraft, with its distinctive history, was assigned to the 89th Military Airlift Wing at Andrews AFB, MD and served under multiple administrations including Presidents Ford, Carter, Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Clinton and George W. Bush.

After years of dedicated service flying high-profile passengers across the globe, this iconic aircraft found its final resting place at Castle Air Museum in Atwater California on October 16th 2013 for public display.
