Cute animals. " Wash up" a baby Grey seal pup washed up on the beach at Weston-super-mare is not settling down at the Bristol Zoo. Wash up believed to be a female probably got blown in with the strong gales from the breeding grounds off the Pembrokeshire Coast. Wash up was taken to a dogs home for one night in the care of the R.S.P.C.A. - she was then moved to Bristol Zoo, who already have one baby seal - the two didn t get on so Wash up was moved in with the king penguins... but Wash up is not taking too kindly to all the attention they give her. EDITORS COMMENTS
This heartwarming print captures the adorable innocence of a baby Grey seal pup named "Wash up". Found washed up on the sandy shores of Weston-super-mare, this little one is now finding solace at the Bristol Zoo. It is believed that strong gales blew Wash up from her breeding grounds off the Pembrokeshire Coast, leading her to an unexpected journey. After spending a night under the care of R. S. P. C. A in a dogs' home, Wash up was transferred to Bristol Zoo. However, things didn't go as planned when she couldn't quite bond with another baby seal already residing there. Determined to find her a suitable companion and environment, zookeepers decided to introduce Wash up to their king penguins. Despite their best efforts, it seems that our furry friend isn't entirely thrilled with all the attention she receives from these dapper birds. Perhaps longing for more familiar company or simply adjusting to her new surroundings, Wash up's emotions are evident in those soulful eyes. Taken in November 1969 by Mirrorpix during simpler times, this photograph not only showcases cuteness overload but also highlights themes of sadness and loneliness experienced by abandoned animals like Wash up. Let us cherish this moment frozen in time and hope that our resilient little seal finds comfort and companionship amidst her unconventional circumstances.
