Entertainment Television: Today Thames Television were auditioning for a girl and a dog to star in the play " Wicked Women" a series of six separate hour long plays in colour based on true cases of notorious criminal women of the Victorian era. The play Christiana Edmunds of the " Wicked Women" series is produced by David Cunliffe who auditioned contestants. 24 year old Melinda May of St. James Park, London got the the part for the female lead, and " Crispen (3) a King Charles spaniel show dog has many firsts, owned by Mrs. Jean Dovey of Warfield Berkshire.
