The party includes, 42 year old Col John Hunt (leader), Edmund Hillary and (Tiger) Sherpa Tensing Norgay (Sherpa Tenzing Norgay). Also among the party are Mrs. Hunt. Tensings wife, Angalammi, and their daughters Pember, aged 16, and Nema, aged 14.
