An ambitious scheme to honour the Coventry born inventor and jet pioneer Sir Frank Whittle in progress at Coventry Airport, Baginton.
The first stage of a project to house historic jet aircraft is the work of the Coventry Midland Air Museum at Baginton.
The 10, 000 square foot building will be named the Frank Whittle Jet Heritage Centre.
Part of the wing section is swung on to place on the mighty Vulcan bomber, one of the 35 planes owned by the Museum.
