An Armstrong Whitworth Meteor NF 14 jet aircraft arrives at its new home at Coventry Airport, Baginton under the care of the Midland Air Museum.
The plane was one of around 100 built at Baginton Airport in the 1950s. It was designed as anight fighter and fitted with special radar to detect flights entering Britain. It had its maiden flight in 1954 and served in a variety of Royal Air Force units before being retired in 1971.
