Billy McPhail, retired football player, aged 70 years old, he played for Celtic (33 appearances), Clyde (137) and Queens Park (12). Pictured 28th March 1998.
He is suffering from the effects of dementia (a broad category of brain diseases that cause a long term and often gradual decrease in the ability to think and remember).
Billy McPhails mental health continued to deteriorate and he died in Glasgow on the 4th April 2003. © Mirrorpix
