Blue Peters recently launched 3Bs appeal for 2, 000, 000 envelopes of button s, badges and buckles, has smashed through the target set to buy a new guide dog for the blind. Thanks to the immense response from viewers, they have collected enough to not only pay for the new dog but also to help convert a disused house into a Guide Dog Training Centre. Blue Peters viewers will be providing a block of Puppy Walking Kennels and though the centre will not be completed for some time, the Puppy Walking Kennels should be built before the end of the year. 2nd January 1975
