Harry Redknapp.
Aged 16 on 31st August 1963 when this picture was taken. He made his first team debut in 1965.
Redknapp was born in Poplar, At age 11, while Redknapp was playing for East London Schools football, he was spotted by Dickie Walker, a Tottenham Hotspur scout. From there, Redknapp grew in the Tottenham youth ranks playing at Cheshunt, meeting the likes of Bill Nicholson, Dave Mackay and Danny Blanchflower. At age 15, Redknapp moved to West Ham United and played alongside Bobby Moore.

This print takes us back to the early days of a football legend, Harry Redknapp. Captured on the 31st of August in 1963, this image showcases a fresh-faced Redknapp at the age of just 16. Little did he know that he would go on to make his first team debut only two years later. Born in Poplar, Redknapp's talent was discovered at an early age while playing for East London Schools football. It was during one of these matches that Dickie Walker, a scout from Tottenham Hotspur, spotted his potential.
