The Air Transport Auxilliary is made up of Miss Pauline Gower, is 27, and leader of the Womens Pilot Section. She is the daughter of Sir Robert Gower, MP.
Pauline leads an 8 woman strong team who are Miss Mona Friedlander who is an international ice hockey player,
Joan Hughes from Loughton in Essex,
Mrs Winifred Crossley, possibly from St Neots, Cambridgshire
The Hon Mrs Fairweather from Scotland,
Mrs G Patterson, from Romford
then there is Mrs Marion Wilberforce.
Also, Miss M Cunnison of Glasgow, and
Miss Rosemary Rees, of Henley on thames, who is the daughter of the late Sir John Rees MP.
