East Hams unit of the WJAC besides having a full trumpet band, now have a mascot, a Labrador named Major. The mascot was given to them by Mechanic Sgt. Major T Hibbert whose daughter is a member of the unit. To get him used to the band he takes regular practice with them. July 1944
