Grade II listed road bridge over the River Kennall, immediately south of Kennall Vale Mill. A four span bridge of post and lintel construction, the bridge is probably of 18th century construction with 20th century parapets. The river once turned over forty water wheels for various mills along the valley including a foundry, a paper mill and numerous gunpowder mills. Photographer: Charles Woolf

EDITORS COMMENTS
This print captures a mesmerizing general view of the historic bridge in Kennall Vale, Stithians, Cornwall. Dating back to 1966, this Grade II listed road bridge stands proudly over the picturesque River Kennall, just south of the renowned Kennall Vale Mill. The four-span bridge showcases an impressive post and lintel construction style. While its origins can be traced back to the 18th century, it is worth noting that the parapets were added during the 20th century. This blend of architectural elements from different eras adds a unique charm to this iconic structure.
