Discovered in 1993 on the Ukok Plateau, nestled high in the Altai Mountains of southern Siberia, this woman's frozen burial mound revealed a stunning piece of history. Believed to be approximately 2500 years old, her remarkably preserved skin and hair offer a glimpse into ancient times. The image captures not only her well-preserved body but also intricate tattoos adorning her shoulder. These markings provide further insight into her identity and cultural background.
