EDITORS COMMENTS
This print captures the historic launch of Voskhod-1, a groundbreaking mission that marked several milestones in space exploration. The image showcases the awe-inspiring moment just after lift-off, as the powerful rocket carrying the Voskhod-1 spacecraft propels skyward with tremendous force. Launched on 12 October 1964 from Baikonur Cosmodrome, this Soviet-led mission shattered barriers and pushed boundaries.
