Loch nan Eilean near Sligachan with view of Bruach na Frthe and Sgurr nan Gillean Mountain Peaks of the Black Cuillins Mountain Range, Isle of Skye, Scotland, United Kingdom

Sligachan is a small settlement on Skye, Scotland. It is close to the Cuillin mountains and provides a good viewpoint for seeing the Black Cuillin mountains. This photograph of Loch nan Eilean taken along a lonesome road shows this small lake nestled in the grasses of the Scottish Highlands with a view of the Black Cuillin mountain range close to sunset. The mountain peaks of Bruach na Frthe and Sgurr nan Gillean are featured here. Bruach na Frthe is one of the principal summits on the Black Cuillin mountain ridge. Sgrr nan Gillean is a mountain in the northern section of the Cuillin range on the Isle of Skye in Scotland and with a height of 964 m it is one of eleven Munros on the Cuillin ridge. The Cuillin Mountain Range is composed of gabbro, a rock with excellent grip for mountaineering
