The pufferfish is a large species that reaches 90 cms in length, found in the tropical Indo-Pacific region but also as far south as Sydney. Nest of the White-spotted pufferfish (Torquigener albomaculosus), a species discovered in 2014. The male creates the sand nest, about 2 m in diameter, on the ocean floor to attract a mate.
