Puma Collection

Puma, also known as cougar, mountain lion, or panther is a large cat native to the Americas, and is the second largest cat in North America after the jaguar and has a tawny-brown coat with black markings on its face and tail, and are solitary animals that live in forests, mountains and grasslands. They hunt deer, elk, moose and other large mammals for food, and are powerful predators that can take down prey much larger than themselves using their sharp claws and teeth. Pumas have excellent vision at night which helps them to detect their prey from far away distances. They communicate with each other through scent marking and vocalizations such as growls, hisses and purrs and can live up to 15 years in the wild but are threatened by habitat loss due to human development as well as hunting by humans for sport or out of fear of attack on livestock or people.
