Leopard Seal Collection

The Leopard Seal (Hydrurga leptonyx) is a species of large, carnivorous seal from the family Phocidae, and is the only species in its genus and is found mainly in the Antarctic region, long, slender body with a broad head and short muzzle. Its coat is gray-brown to black with white spots on its back and sides. The Leopard Seal feeds mainly on krill, fish, squid, penguins and other seals and has powerful jaws that can crush even large prey items such as penguins or other seals.
