Giovanni Migliara Collection

Giovanni Migliara (1785-1837) was an Italian painter and art professor from Milan. He is best known for his landscapes, which often featured views of the city of Milan. He was a prolific artist, producing over 500 paintings in his lifetime. He also wrote several treatises on painting and art theory, which were widely read by other artists. In addition to painting, he taught at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan for many years.
