Ashton made 208 appearances for the club with 145 goals, was a Cambridge Blue for football, hockey and cricket. He was capped by England in 1925 and had 13 England Amateur caps and played cricket for Essex; Whewell made 259 appearances for the club, captained Cambridge and the England Amateur side and also played for Blackburn and Charlton; Fabian played football and cricket for Cambridge and made 3 appearances for Fulham and was a football author; Ansell also played for Brighton, Norwich and Southampton; Shearer played football for Great Britian at the 1936 Olympic Games, represented the Irish League, gained 7 England Amateur caps and won an FA Amateur Cup medal in 1934. He also played cricket for Ireland. In the WWII he rose to Lieutenant colonel in the Royal Artillery and commanded the garrison at Tobruk; Benest served Royal Court in Jersey as Viscount of Jersey 1946-74.
In 1939, Corinthian amalgamated with the Casuals to form Corinthian-Casuals Football Club

Claude Thesiger Ashton, a true sportsman who excelled in football, hockey, and cricket during his time at Cambridge University. Tommy W. The front row showcases Aubrey Howard Fabian, a multi-talented athlete who played both football and cricket for Cambridge University before making appearances for Fulham.
