The future Duchess, dressed in a stylish green top, exudes a sense of grace and poise, reflecting her royal lineage as the daughter of Prince Nicholas of Greece and Denmark and Grand Duchess Elena Vladimirovna of Russia. Born in Athens, Greece, on November 26, 1906, Princess Marina was raised in a wealthy and influential European family. Her parents' royal connections spanned across Europe, with her father being the younger brother of King Constantine I of Greece and her mother being a granddaughter of Tsar Vladimir Alexandrovich of Russia. As the photograph reveals, Princess Marina's beauty and regal bearing were evident long before her marriage to Prince George. The image, taken in the 1930s, showcases her striking features and the timeless elegance of her attire. The photograph is a testament to the rich history and tradition of the European royal families during this era.
