In support of the Examiner Bodyscanner Appeal, these young philanthropists decided to plant a sunflower seed last April and seek sponsorship for its growth. The community rallied behind them as they watered and nurtured their tiny seedling with love and care. Now standing tall at an impressive height of 4ft 4inches, this magnificent sunflower has not only bloomed beautifully but has also raised an astounding £20.55 for the scanner appeal.
