Kitchener Camp WWII
Refugees working inside the pipefitting workshop at Kitchener Camp in Richborough during World War II. The lad on the far right in a cap is one of a hundred schooboys, from a technical school who left Germany to attend a technical school in England. Arrangements were interrupted because of the war and they were sent to Kitchener Camp temporarily, where they have their own huts and carried on with their work as far as possible
