Sutton Coldfield Collection

Sutton Coldfield is a town in the West Midlands of England, located within the metropolitan borough of Birmingham and has a population of around 95,000 people and is situated about 8 miles northeast of Birmingham city centre. The town has a long history, dating back to Anglo-Saxon times when it was known as Sutone and was granted royal charter status by King Henry VIII in 1528, and is home to Sutton Park, one of the largest urban parks in Europe with over 2,400 acres of green space. The town centre features many shops and restaurants as well as an indoor market which dates back to 1620. There are also several historic buildings including Sutton Coldfield Town Hall which was built in 1734 and Grade I listed Mere Green Hall which dates from 1680.
