EDITORS COMMENTS
Great photo capturing the jubilant moment of Cesc Fabregas's double celebration during Arsenal's dominant 4-0 win over Fulham in the FA Premiership on March 4, 2006, at Craven Cottage. The Spanish midfielder, then just 19 years old, scored two stunning goals in the second half, securing Arsenal's victory and boosting their title challenge. Fabregas's first goal came in the 62nd minute, following a quick counter-attack that tore apart Fulham's defense. The young prodigy calmly finished off the move with a composed finish, sending the Arsenal fans into raptures. But it was his second goal, just 11 minutes later, that truly encapsulated the spirit of the Arsenal team under Arsene Wenger. Fabregas received the ball on the edge of the box, turned his defender with ease, and unleashed a powerful shot into the top corner. As the ball hit the back of the net, Fabregas wheeled away in celebration, pumping his fists in the air before running to join his teammates, who had already gathered in a huddle to celebrate with him. The photo perfectly captures the excitement and energy of that moment, with Fabregas's teammates piling on top of him in a heap of joy and relief. The Arsenal bench, led by Arsene Wenger, can be seen celebrating from the sidelines, while Fulham players look on in disbelief. This victory was a crucial one for Arsenal, who were battling for the title with Chelsea and Manchester United. The win moved them level on points with Chelsea, who they would later face in a crucial match at Stamford Bridge. But for now, Arsenal could bask in the glory of their dominant performance and Cesc Fabregas's double celebration.
