Known as 'The Smokin' Bantam,' Williams earned his nickname for his tenacious riding style and the plume of smoke that trailed behind him as he revved his engine. The Ultra Lightweight TT was a grueling race, with riders competing on narrow, winding roads that tested both their physical and mechanical endurance.
