Antonio Pollaiuolo (1429-1498): A Florentine Master of the Renaissance This stunning print depicts the renowned Florentine artist Antonio Pollaiuolo, a pivotal figure in the development of the High Renaissance. Born in Florence in 1429, Pollaiuolo was a painter, sculptor, and architect of the Quattrocento period, known for his innovative techniques and anatomical accuracy. Pollaiuolo's artistic training began under the tutelage of his older brother Maffeo, who was also an artist. Together, they formed a collaborative partnership that produced some of the most influential works of the time.
