The pregnancy lasted 54 weeks, and on July 2nd, 2010, at 8:02 am, the male calf entered the world, weighing approximately 16 kg and measuring 120cm in length. Blue's companion, Micha, a 25-year-old male from Cuba, has been in Italy since 1989, is the proud father. The mother's gentle touch and stimulation are essential for the calf's development and survival. The bond between mother and calf is strong, and this behavior is a sign of the beginning of a new life filled with love and nurture. Bottlenose Dolphins, scientifically known as Tursiops truncatus, are a widespread and social marine mammal species found worldwide in shallow seas and estuaries. They are known for their intelligence, playful behavior, and distinctive beak-like snouts.
