This intriguing photographic print, created in 1935 by the Japanese American artist Keye Luke, presents an optical illusion that brings the face of Maurice Chevalier to life. At first glance, the image appears to be a simple black and white portrait of the famous French actor. However, upon closer inspection, four small dots arranged between Chevalier's eyes become the key to an extraordinary visual experience.
