This exquisite Chinese-style wall hanging, dated circa 1900, showcases the rich fusion of Eastern and Western interior design trends during the late 19th century. Hanging beneath are satin curtains, also embellished with gold and silver accents. The Chinese-style wall hanging is a croisee genre Chinois, a popular decorative style during the Art Nouveau period.
