A Misunderstood Delivery - A Comic Postcard from the 20th Century This charming and amusingly misunderstood comic postcard from the 20th century depicts a plump, middle-aged man in shortsighted glasses, clutching a large parcel and looking rather bewildered as he approaches a group of women on a busy British street. The women, all dressed in their Sunday best, are gathered around a map, seemingly giving directions to a maternity home. The man, with a worried expression on his face, seems to have made a grave mistake. He thought he was delivering a parcel to a maternity home, but it appears he may have misunderstood the situation entirely.
