This evocative photograph captures the charming exterior of the Fitters Arms pub, located in the heart of Kemp Town, Brighton, Sussex (BN1 4GH). The image presents a corner view of this historic public house, with its distinctive red brick facade and ornate white detailing. The pub, which once stood proudly as a local institution, is now a cherished memory for those who frequented it. The Fitters Arms was a popular gathering place for the community, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere for locals and visitors alike. The pub's rich history can be traced back to the late 1800s, when it was first established as a watering hole for the workers in the nearby shipyards. Over the years, the pub became synonymous with good times and camaraderie, serving up a fine selection of beers and ales, along with hearty pub fare. Sadly, as of July 2018, the Fitters Arms met its end, and the building was demolished. This photograph serves as a poignant reminder of the pub's existence and the memories it holds for so many.
