EDITORS COMMENTS
In the dimly lit room of a London family home on an ordinary Sunday evening, March 30, 1986, the Burlington family gathered around as their 10-year-old son, Andrew, played a game on his Sinclair ZX Spectrum computer. Little did they know that this seemingly mundane moment would soon be etched into the annals of the unexplained and paranormal. As Andrew focused intently on the screen, his father, captivated by his son's engrossment, snapped a photograph to preserve the memory. However, upon developing the film, the family was shocked to discover an eerie apparition lurking in the background of the image. The strange, ghostly figure appeared as a nebulous, translucent shape with no discernible features, save for two glowing orbs that seemed to pierce through the darkness. The image was strikingly odd, as there was no sign of the figure in the room at the time of the photograph. The phenomenon baffled the family, leaving them both frightened and intrigued. They pondered the possibilities: was it a prank, a trick of the light, or an authentic manifestation of the supernatural? The enigmatic figure defied explanation, and the family kept the photograph a closely guarded secret. The unexplained apparition continued to haunt their memories, a strange and inexplicable vision from the past. The event remained a fascinating anomaly, a curious footnote in the annals of paranormal phenomena, a testament to the unexplored mysteries of the world around us. This photograph, with its ghostly apparition, serves as a reminder of the unexplored realms of the unknown, the strange and the inexplicable. It is a glimpse into the realm of the Fortean and the paranormal, a realm where the boundaries between the natural and the supernatural blur, and where the unexplained reigns supreme.
