In this evocative photograph, two Westland Wessex HC2 helicopters, XR527 and XR588, of No.28 Squadron RAF, are seen parked on the tarmac at Kai Tak International Airport in Hong Kong during August 1976. The Westland Wessex HC2, a versatile and agile helicopter, was a mainstay of the Royal Air Force's transport fleet during the late 1970s.
