Scouts from the Huddersfield South-West district marched from the Town Hall to the Parish Church on their St Georges Day parade.
The service, conducted by the Vicar of Huddersfield, the Rev Brian Maguire, included a playlet by members of Crosland Moor Scout group.
Kirklees Deputy Mayor and Mayoress, Clr and Mrs David Wright, who attended the service, are pictured taking the salute in the Market Place as the parade returned to the Town Hall.
Honley Band and Marsden Junior Band provided music. 22nd April 1990
