Swings and roundabouts... Crosland Moor children enjoy themselves at the new Walpole Community Centre adventure playground, which was opened on Saturday. Kirklees Deputy Mayor Clr John Howarth performed the opening ceremony, which came after a children procession.
The playground includes swings, a climbing frame, a suspension bridge and an aerial runway. It was built by contractors, community centre staff and volunteers. 21st July 1990
