Marriage tasting ceremony at Ecaussinnes-Lalaing, Belgium. The village holds a match-making day every year, love seekers were welcomed with a banner " Welcome all bachelors. Good luck all spinsters". People intent on finding a marriage partner pay 4s to the bureau and fill in a form with their details. Then the official committee set about their match making in the quiet of the town hall. Outside the candidates wait patiently in the hope that they will be paired off with someone in whose company they can enjoy the pleasures of the villages famous tunnel of love.
