This electrifying photo captures the thrill of the 2-1 victory for Rangers over Celtic on March 16,2003. The Old Firm Derby, as this highly-anticipated match is known, is a Scottish footballing institution, and this encounter between the two arch-rivals did not disappoint. In the foreground, Rangers midfielder Mikel Arteta stands triumphantly, his face a picture of elation, as he lifts the ball aloft after scoring the decisive goal. The Spanish international's cool finish in the 77th minute put Rangers in the lead, a position they would not relinquish. Behind Arteta, a sea of blue and white scarves and shirts fill the stands, the passionate Rangers supporters celebrating their team's hard-fought victory. The atmosphere in Ibrox Stadium was electric, and the noise from the terraces could be felt long after the final whistle. On the other side, Celtic manager Neil Lennon, a former Rangers player and captain, cuts a dejected figure.
