Robert Hicks (right), MP for South East Cornwall, is shown around the Lostwithiel Dairy Crest Milk Factory by General Manager Bill Martin. Mr Hicks, later knighted, represented the constituency from 1974 to 1997. The milk factory was opened in the 1930s and was the towns major employer until closure in the mid 1990s.
