The image, captured by the Spanish School in the 12th century, showcases the grandeur and architectural brilliance of the Monestir de Poblet in Catalonia, Spain. Founded in 1151, this ancient monastery stands as a testament to Spanish Cistercian architecture. The view of the church facade is simply breathtaking; every intricate detail tells a story of devotion and spirituality. Ken Welsh's skillful capture brings out the essence and beauty that still resonates within these aged stones.
