In this beautifully detailed print, we are transported to the heart of Turkey's picturesque landscape, where an adventurous group embarks on a thrilling hunting expedition. The scene unfolds with an old ferry boat carrying the enthusiastic hunters across serene waters. As they approach their destination, their eyes are met with a breathtaking sight - majestic deer gracefully roaming amidst lush greenery. Chelabi, one of the hunters, confidently strides forward while his loyal retriever stands by his side. Intriguingly, it seems that not only deer but also ducks have captured their attention. A flock of old mallards takes flight as another member of the party skillfully aims at them from within a comfortable tent set up nearby. This shooting excursion becomes even more enchanting as we notice young children eagerly observing every moment unfold before them. Their wide-eyed wonder adds an element of innocence and joy to this otherwise intense adventure. As our gaze wanders through this lively composition, we catch glimpses of Turkish culture intertwined with European influences. The presence of Turkish locals and references to Central Turkey remind us that this journey transcends borders and unites different worlds.
