Bonaparte at the Bridge of Arcole, 1796. The French defeated the Austrians on 17 November 1796 after a three day battle at Arcole, Northern Italy. Early in the battle, he seized a flag and attempted to cross the bridge separating the two armies, before being driven back by Austrian fire. Quality timber frame frame moulding (20mm wide and 30mm deep) with frame colours in your choice of black, white, or raw oak and a choice of black or white card mounts. Frames have a perspex front providing a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish which is easily cleaned with a damp cloth.
