Reverend Charles John Vaughan, DD, Dean of Llandaff and Master of the Temple, 1882. Educated at Rugby School, Vaughan (1816-1897) took orders in 1841, becoming vicar of St Martin s, Leicester. He was Headmaster of Harrow School from 1844-1859, became Master of the Temple in 1869 and Dean of Llandaff in 1879. He had a reputation as an eloquent preacher and wrote extensively on a wide range of theological subjects. Vaughan was actively involved in the establishment of University College, Cardiff and was elected its president in 1894. Outer dimensions are 13.5x11.5 inches (34x29cm). Quality timber frame frame moulding (20mm wide and 30mm deep) with frame colours in your choice of black, white, or raw oak and a choice of black or white card mounts. Frames have a perspex front providing a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish which is easily cleaned with a damp cloth.

This print captures the distinguished Reverend Charles John Vaughan, DD, Dean of Llandaff and Master of the Temple in 1882. Educated at Rugby School, Vaughan's journey in the clergy began when he took orders in 1841 and became vicar of St Martin's in Leicester.
