The intricate carving depicts a swallow, symbolizing various concepts such as freedom, migration, and rebirth in ancient Egyptian culture. This artifact is part of the Coffin texts belonging to Seni, who held the esteemed positions of Steward and Chief of Physicians during Egypt's Middle Kingdom (1991-1783 BC). The photograph was taken at the British Museum, where this remarkable piece is preserved for visitors to admire. The image beautifully captures the rich brown color and fine details of the hieroglyphic artwork.
