MARY ARDENs HOUSE / PALMERs FARM, Station Road, Wilmcote, Aston Cantlow, Warwickshire. This house was first referred to as Mary Ardens House in 1798. Mary Arden was Shakespeares mother and the house dates from the early 16th century. However, it is now known that this is in fact Palmers Farm, and the red-brick cottage to the south-west is where Mary Arden lived.
