Framed and mounted 9x7 print. Professionally handmade full timber moulded frames are finished off with framers tape and come with a hanging solution on the back. Outer dimensions are 13.5x11.5 inches (34x29cm). Quality timber frame frame moulding (20mm wide and 30mm deep) with frame colours in your choice of black, white, or raw oak and a choice of black or white card mounts. Frames have a perspex front providing a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish which is easily cleaned with a damp cloth.

This print captures the Aston Hall Gateway in Birmingham, taken by George Bernard Mason in 1941. The image showcases the grandeur of this Jacobean country house's entrance, with its magnificent archway and gate lodges standing proudly against the backdrop of Aston Park. In the distance, one can glimpse the towering presence of St Peter and St Pauls Church, adding a touch of religious significance to this architectural marvel. However, as time passed, progress brought about change that was not always kind to our historical treasures. Sadly, this gateway and its accompanying lodges met their demise sometime between the late 1960s and early 1970s when they were demolished. This photograph serves as a poignant reminder of their existence before their unfortunate destruction.
