Managed by a group of Indian women, the stall is filled with a colorful array of indigenous fruits including ramboutan, mangistan, dourian, copra, mangas, grapefruit, pineapple and bananas. A Chinese man can be seen purchasing some fruit from one of the women. Adding to the lively scene is a white cockatoo perched on the bamboo fence. Its presence adds a touch of exoticism to this already captivating display. In the bottom right corner of the image, there is a painted paper listing all the names of these delicious fruits as well as other elements present in this busy marketplace such as stalls and ornamental birds.
