Outer dimensions are 21.5x17.5 inches (546x444mm). Quality timber frame frame moulding (20mm wide and 30mm deep) with frame colours in your choice of black, white, or raw oak and a choice of black or white card mounts. The Italian invasion of Ethiopia, also known as the Second Italo-Ethiopian War, began in October 1935 and lasted until May 1936. The Italian fascist regime, led by Benito Mussolini, sought to expand its colonial empire and assert its dominance in Africa. Despite being outnumbered and outgunned, the Ethiopian army and people put up a fierce resistance, inflicting heavy casualties on the Italian forces. The eventual Italian victory came at a great cost, with an estimated 100,000 Ethiopian civilians and soldiers killed.
