Parker, starring the esteemed actor Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree in the title role, was first performed at His Majesty's Theatre in London in January 1909. This theatrical production, which saw its revival one year later in the same venue for a limited engagement in January 1910, offered a unique exploration into the life of the legendary composer Ludwig van Beethoven. The flyer for the revival, displayed here, showcases Beerbohm Tree's portrayal of the iconic figure, dressed in a long, dark coat and holding a quill pen, deep in thought.
